Editor

The editor changes what the shopper sees: screens, sections, blocks, the brand kit, navigation and the app icon.

Status: on by default. Who can edit: owner, admin, designer and publisher. See Team and roles.

Screens and blocks#

• A screen is one page of the app, such as the home screen or a product page.
• A block is one section on a screen, such as a product carousel, a banner or a reviews strip.

Use the Library to add blocks. Use Layers to see the order of blocks on a screen. Drag blocks to move them. Select a block to change its settings in the side panel.

The canvas shows the screen as the shopper will see it. Feature blocks that are off by default are hidden from the shopper until their switch is on.

Saving and conflicts#

• Changes save as a draft as you work.
• You can undo and redo changes.
• If two people edit the same screen, the second save is refused. Reload the screen, check your changes, and save again.

Drafts are not live until you publish. See Getting started.

Brand kit, navigation and icon#

• Brand kit: logo, colours and fonts.
• Navigation: tab bar, menu and header.
• Icon and splash: the app icon and the start-up screen.

A change to the icon, name or build settings needs a new store build. See Publishing to stores.
